Don 2 Box-Office Prediction

December 12, 2011 by Keyur Seta 5 Comments

Star Value: Having Shah Rukh Khan as the main lead ensures a foolproof guarantee for a mammoth opening for any film, especially if the film is in the news. Presence of other actors like Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri is an added advantage.

Hype: The hype has been tremendous for Don 2 ever since the makers released the first promo in July this year. The excitement increased further when the second promo came out in October. Both the trailers have gone down well even with those who don’t admire SRK or the first installment of Don. The makers will publicize the movie further once the release date (December 23) nears.

Music: Songs of Don 2 are slowly gaining popularity. ‘Zara Dil Ko Thaam Lo’, a techno disco number, has impressed the audiences. ‘Dushman Mera’, ‘Maya’ and few other tracks will slowly but steadily help in publicizing the movie.

Prediction: Considering the above points, it’s needless to say that Don 2 will receive a mammoth opening. Even if the film fails to impress at the onset (God forbid), the makers will rake in the profit due to the money generated in the first weekend and week. Fortunately, if Don 2 receives a thumbs up, it will be one of the top earners of 2011. It will also cross the Rs 100 crore mark if that happens.

  1. why this srk di says

Shahrukh become lucky superstar only after doing pictures which other stars refuse…like Bhaajigar(Sallu bhai was to do), Darr (Aamir, Sanju, Ajay), Karan Arjun (Ajay), DDLJ – the hittest film of all times(Tom Cruise), Swadesh (Aamir, Hrithik, Madhavan), Chak De (Sallu bhai).

He should thank you to all these stars for his Mannat at Bandstand

Once he become superstar he refuse good filims like Munnabhai, Mission Kashmir, 3 Idiot, Rang De Basanti, Kaho na Pyar Hai,

And I not understand why he do anything silly for money like Sona Chandi Chawanprash, Emami fairness cream, Pappu ne Paapa Pespondent, and even dancing at peoples weddings. He should do good types of things, which in inspiration to the India.

    I feel pity to him.

Still I hoping DON2 work out well only for Mr Farhan Akhtar the true rocking star..

      You know something?
SRK Came to bombay with nothing. He made all this by him self. And the big film DDLJ never offered to anyone else. Yash chopra forced him tn do the film. After that any yash chopra film never offered to anyone.
      You feel pitty for him?
      I feel proud for him.
He don’t do illegal things or never promoted a brand that is bad for anyone.
And every single actor actress followed his path to do commercial adds.
And DON2 dont need your wish, it is a suse shot huge hit.
      Just wait & watch “KID”
