Social Worker Anna Hazare’s movement for the amendment of the Jan Lokpal Bill gave rise to a revolution which was never seen after India’s Independence. The unprecedented response of the movement also became an iconic example in countries other than India.
But as Anna says, we are yet to achieve the ultimate which can be done only if the movement is kept alive. In order to do that, Anna has started a blog. In order to make it more accessible, each blog post will appear in three languages – Hindi, Marathi and English.
But that’s not all, the anti-corruption crusader has also joined Facebook and Twitter.

The way Raju Parulekar has changed colours overnight and has started shamelessly degrading Team Anna and Annaji himself indicates that he was a MOLE planted in the movement by the Congress party through medium of Vilasrao Deshmukh who is trying hard to get in the good books of Sonia Gandhi in order to fulfill his ambition to come back as CM of Maharashtra. Similar game was enacted earlier when Swami Agniwesh was planted as a MOLE by Kapil Sibbal which was ultimately exposed during an unguarded telephonic talk between Agnivesh and Sibbal at the height on the Annaji,s ANSHAN episode. Annaji should guard scrupolosly against such unholy tricks of all those opposed to Jana Lokpal Bill.

yesterday on many news channels it was reported that anna ji is planning to make a team between age group 18 to 45 to fight against corruption and to support jan lokpal bill. i feel at the age of 49 that i am very active energetic able to fight for above cause
i suggest anna ji to make a team between age group 18 to 65 so that a broad base group is available to fight for such a big cause

the movement u have started is good for the country but the people there what they say is not good, refferin to what kiran bedi said she has accepted fudging bills on the media channel…and says she is ready to return the money….but she is also corrupt and and by returnin if she becomes clean then other people can as well…such people should not be allowed in this type of motions, cause it has now lead to a question that is this a personel agenda and our support for anna hazare is also weakened and if corrupt people can as well stand have their space in core group then we should as well stop supportin cause it is same thin at the end….

“Reason of corruption is we get lesser than what we expect”
Today I have read the news paper, there was a news that prominent social activist Mr Anna Hajare gone on hunger strike against corruption. Before this Yoge Guru Mr Ram Dev has also started a movement against corruption. Now corruption has become most liked issue for social activist. All of the movements are designed by the people based on the successful model in other countries; these models are not designed by their own. They may be successful in other countries but it is not sure that must be successful in India. I think that we should develop a model which is self desired and not be a copy of other.
Before going in depth about the control of the corruption we should analyze the reason of corruption.
Absolutism: Absolute power makes the system corrupt. We can give some example on it. Before appointment of private venders for booking of railway tickets, there were long lines on booking windows of railway stations. There was large scale black marketing of railway tickets and reservations, but now people can purchase the tickets from private venders after paying one rupee more. It has reduced the chance of corruption. Why only government machinery is able to produce the evidence before the court? Why a private person having evidence in any case could not produce before court suo moto? Why only government police can investigate any matter? Why private detectives cannot be engaged by any party to work out the case and their records can be taken by the courts as evidence? If a dacoit is murdered by the police, governmet gives medal to the policemen and facilitate their work and if that dacoit is murdered by a private person police lodges the FIR under section 302 of CrPC why?
To control the corruption reduce the absolutism.
Monopoly: Though absolutism and monopoly seems to be similar but both have different meaning and affect. Where absolutism shows the power, monopoly shows the action. In offices we find that for a specific work a specific clerk is deputed. It is the monopoly of that clerk to do or not to do the work. Before computerization there was monopoly of lekhpal to issue the revenue record. He was in position to bargain to the poor people, but after computerization their monopoly ended and corruption reduces. In offices like ARTO, Treasure, Trade Tax, Income Tax, Regisry, their monopoly has makes the system corrupt.Remove the monopoly, corruption will automatically reduce. Appoint the private vendor to deposit the taxes, computerize the system, and appoint private venders for registration in all offices.
To control the corruption remove the monopoly and promote competition.
Reduce the DDO’s: Under the name of people’s participation and to control the corruption government has decentralise the system of planning and execution. It has increase the drawing and disbursing officers.All the gram pradhan,gram panchayat sachiv,and other people’s representatives has gained the power of drawing the government fund. More number of ddo’s more corruption.
Lesser the number of DDO’S easier to control them.
Develop An Incentive Based System: Government system is based on punishment not on incentive. You will get punishment if you will do this and will not do this but there is no provision of incentive for doing any work. Develop an incentive based system where a person gets incentive for their action. For example in treasure when you present any bill he put an objection when he put objection we give bribe to remove that objection, if he does not put objection he get nothing for passing the bill. If you reduce the salary and link the work with incentive corruption will reduce automatically.
Incentive will automatically improve the work.
Change the people perception: People’s perception needs to be changed. Before 35-40 years corrupt people did not get respect in the society now only corrupt people gets respect by virtue of their higher economic status irrespective of how they got that money. In a marriage ceremony if an honest officer or politician reached by motorcycle people will ignore him and an officer or politician reached by Honda city car people will be welcomed by the people irrespective of how he purchased that Honda city. Until and unless corrupt people get respect in the society corruption cannot be controlled.
Simplify complicated rules, regulations and procedures of government machinery: Complicated procedure of government offices leads corruption. Unnecessary and old rules, regulations and laws needs to be changed. In India if you have to estabilish an industry you have to take several clearances from different offices. You have to follow various needless and complicated rules and regulations which can be managed only by following the corrupt practices.
Improve the sense of nationalism: Nationalism will balance the interest of the society and interest of a person. India had won the ICC World cup it will surely improve the nationalism and reduce the corruption.
Evaluate the Society in to to not in piece meal: Suppose in a family there are two brothers one is traffic constable and other is constable in military. How one can expect that a brother earn the money and other died for country. We cannot expect that a teacher will perform his duty and a sachiv earn money from gram panchayat.
Harsh punishment for corruption: A provision of harsh punishment, rapid disposal of corruption cases, clear cut penal provisions for corruption.

I am with anna ji in every event and support his struggle.
allow me to suggest that the government expenditure may also be made answerable and and all expenditure and payments made to contractors and private parties who are generally the front for one or other politician should be monitored.
further sincere efforts are required to alleviate the level of all indians and I request that muslims of low economic status need attention immediately. At least at class IV level where i have seen sepoys who cannot read or write but are still selected but muslim candidates of better caliber are rejected besides police the railways also need to give muslims a chance at khalasi and class IV levels even the coolies are imported from other states in muslim majority cities this needs to be corrected. sir I need to mention that congress is responsible for the present state of muslims in india. at the time of independence muslims constituted 40 % in administration and police specially at class IV level which was reduced to 0.4 % by 1990. congress has vaned away muslims from education and government jobs and has made them members of the Que for alms and dole outs by the congress led government. I expect Anna ji and the team and kiran ji to take up this issue sometime during the struggle. please forgive me for speaking up for muslims because no one else does so. please understand we are indians and love the motherland more than anyone else. dont hate them but try to like them and love them they are a beautiful people. please please please.

Sir you have set a target of very high level. Government is not interested in Jan Lokpal. Ultimately our aim is a corruption free India. This can be achieved step by step. You can set a small target of abolition of Member of Parliament Local Area Development Fund and Vidhayak Nidhi. More than 90 per cent MP and MLA’s either fight election by earning funds from those funds or in anticipation of those funds. Election reform can be started by abolishing those funds. MP and MLA’s are for making rules not for executing development programmes. For those a huge government machinery is there. Abolishing the MPLAD and Vidhayak Nidhi can be set as the first target. I think this can be achieved by passing a simple resolution by Parliament. Please do something on this issue also.
