No director could have rescued such a script :)

Yes, I need to watch all those great old films by Yashji again. Would include Deewar and Dharmputra (most underrated classic) in it too.

Cheers :)

I can't help but wonder what Aditya Chopra would've done with this script in the Director's chair. I hated RAB NE BANA DI JODI... but even that had some semblance of whimsically emotional logic than this.

I chalk this up to Yashji's deteriorating health during production. It's best to follow up a viewing of this movie with LAMHE, SILSILA, etc...

I can not really comprehend, why you hate IPL so vehemently. Even the English Premiere League involves auctioning of players, launching team jerseys. Even EPL has players warming the benches. Yes the spot fixing incidents are a disgrace but but is it completely justified to blame a system if a person lacks integrity? The IPL has earned quite a brand value and has drawn global interest. It has helped discover new talent. If it goes on, it could be really beneficial for the country. However a major cleanup operation is definitely required if cricket in India is to retain the loyalty of its fans.

Here is my take on the same http://bytesandbanter.blogspot.in/2013/05/the-show-must-go-on.html
